As much as I'd love to see it happen being a huge vikings fan, don't count your apples before they ripen. He is now 2nd guessing it because Vikings team members are texting him and telling him to come back according to ESPN reports.

wouldn't that make him want to come back?, or the only reason he wanted to play is because nobody wanted him to play

He is coming back because he said he always wanted to play for the Vikings Career as a Viking now that he has the chance to. He is taking 2nd thoughts because he never was 100% sure that he was and now he feels obligated to play 100% or not. He feels that if he does not come back he will be letting everyone down.
