Don't even bother wondering which part of the jersey the patch comes from with event-used stuff. The jerseys these guys wear (for 2 minutes) aren't always their own. You'll see name plate patches and numbers that clearly do not come from anywhere on their particular game jersey. One of many reasons why event-used patches are lame.

also wouldnt be surprised for the companies to have them wear jerseys with full names on it, for more patch pieces

yep, just a tactic to get more patches im sure. kinda sucks but what can you do.

gee, you don't buy them. the guy that won the patch with the M WAS A SHILL, I THINK. he bid on the sellers auctions 42% of his bids, its not that hard to figure out.
