I say Perry, just cause he'll be GREAT, but it's up to you. How about Skille???

You just don't want somebody else picking up some Hawks cards that you could pickup, lol

I wish you luck - it's hard collecting the young players these days as they are not only popular (some), but also have a ton of 1/1s. If you aren't too worried about that, then it's not too bad, but if you would stay away, then yah, it's tough to find someone.
Sharp might be a good choice - what about Duncan Keith? I haven't looked at either of their cards though, so not sure about variety/how hard to get them.
Good luck regardless, and if you are ever looking for base cards, past or present, give me a PM!!

Thanks very much to everyone who has replied, some good ideas there.Still not sure who I will collect yet.I like perry because I think he will be great and he played for my hometown Knights. But I also love the hawks so I am thinking byfuglien or bucky as I call him,or bolland or skille, just not sure who has both cheap and sick cards.

Why not Colin Wilson :)
The Preds are one of the next great young teams, with Pickard, Ellis and Blum!

For Hawks I'd say like Seabrook, Keith, Byfuglien would be your best bests.
Patrick Sharp would be too but he doesn't get a lot of hobby love you don't see too many hits of sharp really
Maybe even Dave Bolland?

I would go with Bolland personally. I see him as a future 40 goal man and a mainstay on the second line. He's decent defensively and a good faceoff man.
