Nobody!!!!!! Then again thats the same news as usual which makes me want to rant. I mean I know they signed Steve Montador, he brings some size but they have done nothing else of relevance. The other other signing I saw was Joe DiPenta who played in the Swedish Elite League last season for Portland. Nothing Else!!! They could have had Marty Biron for 1.4 million to backup Miller. Backup goalie was a huge problem the 2 years since he left. He won 25+ games last year and was sitting out there. Miller is going to the Olympics and we are going to need a goalie. Well I guess now its going to have to be stuck with Lalime who did not get the job done last year. Its going to be another long year. At least Darcy Regier says he is optimistic about this year.

I really doubt they could have gotten Biron. Biron only signed his cheap, 1-year dear undoubtedly because he's hoping for a bigger payday next summer, and with an almost 40-year old Roloson and the wonky DiPietro as his compeititon, he has a decent chance at being the starting G.

In Buffalo, he'd have no chance of that unless Miller had a season-ending injury and would be doing himself a disservice.
