If you are looking for 2009 stuff, I would go with Playoff Prestige. Four hits, and always at least one autograph. The rookies always hold decent value as well. Ths short prints and variations are cool too! Plus Panini has done very well. Elite is fun to break, but it's very hard to get a high-end hit.
Best of luck with whatever you break!

I havent bought many boxes this year, but I always go with Donruss. Any of them. They produce a good amount of hits, and great looking cards. I also like Press Pass just because they have player in college uniforms, but the resale value isnt the best.

2008 leaf limited. Its just around $100, and you usually get a lot of star players and HOFers. Ive opened about 16 boxes and I got the Flacco in my avatar as well as a couple Ryans and some other nice rookie and HOF autos.

I bought a box of 2008 score select on ebay. I am thinking hard on 2009 Score Inscriptions, Playoff Prestige, Heroes, 2008 spa, and leaf certified master.
lol maybe with time i'll get one of each?
Thanks all for such diverse, great, and well appreciated advice!

Why don't you throw 09 Classics in the mix? It is a great product that produces some sweet auto rc cards and also gives you the shot at hitting a sick card of a HOFer. I've had great luck with the Classics myself. I've opened some of everything your considering and i'd put classics near the top of your list.

I'd say go with elite, never opened any myself but even the base rookies seem to have good value, i just picked up a 07 calvin johnson rookie friday out of a box a guy had $1ea or 6 for $5 at a small fair and was suprised to find out when i got home and checked it bv, $30. So apparently elites base rookies carry a good value which is something most products today dont.

If you want an old school feel, try the 2009 Philadelphia Football when it comes out in August. If you want some cool stuff, try finding some Football from the 1970's. My wife loves the 2006 Donruss Classics Football and the 2005 Topps Heritage Football is nice as well.

I would go with 08 Lead Certified or 08 Gridiron Gear. In my LCM box, I got like 5 hits, and it's a pretty good box with value since you can easily find one for $65ish. Atlanta Sports Cards should still offer at that price. 08 Gridiron Gear also have hot boxes which are also fun to open. And I hope you have fun with your football collection
