How do you ASK for someone's shoes?

Ok guys (and gals), let me be more specific, I'll be going to Hornets vs Celtics next year, and I'd love to ask Glen Davis for his shoes.

You see, I was in the Hospital last year in Baton Rouge (Glen's Home town) and I was super-sick. I almost died. One of the only things that kept me going was collecting sports cards, mostly of Big Baby.

I'm always seeing on here that people give you guys shoes after the game. I understand that there is absolutely no guarantee, but I just want to know what would be the best way to express my situation and ask him.

I also understand that the Celtics are notoriously bad signers, but I think Glen would sign considering he'll be in his home state (mine as well obviously).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

    God Bless

Since you're going after one person in particular, you should wear his jersey (ie. prove you are a fan). Also if you have lots of extra Big Baby cards, I'd offer to give him some (ie. prove you are a nice guy). Then you have to straight up ask for his shoes. Ask before & after the game. I've heard of guys that get a promise before the game, and then they get the kicks after the game.

That sounds like a pretty solid plan. Thanks!

    Anyone else have any ideas?
