Hmmm interesting. Freeing up D getting a decent penelty killer and a 2nd rounder. Not bad for both teams. I still see more to come.

good trade for both sides, stralman still has to fight for his position though, he's still gotta go through giordano, pardy, pelech and aulie.. calgary receives a good penalty killer as well in stuart, and now with boyd most likely being attempted at a more offensive role, stuart will help out on the bottom line..

toronto gets back to 49 contracts with this trade which i like, they can now add another player, plus they get a 2nd rounder for a talented dman, but a guy who also complained about being sent down.. on a team run by burke and ron wilson, you don't complain about playing time or demotions..

wayne primeau? meh, if he's healthy IF he's healthy i can't see him being bad on the fourth line, and he can take some defensive pressure off of mitchell, who like boyd, i think will be used in more offensive situations this year and perhaps relied on..

The leafs are going to beat the tar out of everyone and still lose alot of games by 3 or more goals. You need skill in the East just as Pittsburgh showed everyone this yr.
