Allen and Ginter 2008

[Dirty Bird]

Picked up a box of 2008 Ginter last week and thought it was pretty tame (although I didnt have a price guide and hadnt bought any Ginter from that year prior to this). Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought:
Started with Ryan Braun N43, also pulled all the good base including Bruce, Longoria, Kershaw, and Masterson. In fact, I pulled all the "Beckett listed" base except Bucholz, Mantle, Maddux, and Wang (shrug). The 3 black mini's were Jeff Kent, Victor Martinez, and Daric Barton. World Leaders 22 (Olmert), and 34 (Garcia-Perez), Worlds Greatest Victories #18 Team Orange, The Sphinx, Baseball Icon Babe Ruth! (Kids loved that one the best...I didnt realize it wasnt just a mini of his base card until now...). 3 very weak patches Varitek, Hampton, and Hafner. A Curtis Granderson autograph which was pretty nice and the best (especially because me and my kids all missed it when we opened it initially) an Austin Kearns Mini Bazooka numbered 02/25! Not bad for a $54 dollar box!
