Why is this Card Worth So Much??
This is just a regular 2003 ud mvp rookie, you get 2 per pack, which is like 48 per box, so why is this one so special. i've seen other shane walton mvp rookies sell for this much too, i have this card, please tell me why everyone is paying so much for it.

maybe because he is a ND alumni and has a great following, alot of ND players do well in the NFL so maybe people are talking a gamble.

but this guy was drafted in the 5th round and a palmer rookie is probably worth $5 in this set, that seems weird that they would pay at least double what the card is worth and over for that kind of a card. i mean they can buy a box for $20 and get that card plus 45 other rookies. very interesting

yeah I understand that, but alot of people are not that high on palmer esp. after his first performance the other day and I don't know what shane did so far in preseason, but he is from ND and he plays good D and is a hard hitter, ala lynch who I believe is from ND too.

Maybe you were right about the big following thing because there is a Cato June rc from the same brand that's around $4 right now and he's from Michigan. he was drafted in the 6th round

Walton was looked upon as a pretty good college athlete. Maybe collectors are going after his cards thinking he's a diamond in the rough.
