DMAC 08 topps chrome gold refractor with no serial #/

Just got a card in that I don't know what to think of. First off the trader outright lied to me and said that it was a DMac gold refractor /199. I even PMed to make sure it was a gold and not a copper and was /199 and he confirmed that was the case. The pic in his bucket has been cropped to only show the card. When I got the card today it was graded BGS9 and doesn't have any serial numbering on it. I'm thinking maybe it was from some topps promo or something, but those usually have sample or something else stamped on them somewhere. This looks exactly like one of the box toppers that you get in the 08 topps chrome, but it isn't numbered. Please give me some info on this and if ur a mod lmk what I should do about someone with such deseptive practices. Thanks to pwells I didn't send my end b/c he told me this same trader had been kicked off of another trade site.
Any infor you guys can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks Justin

Thank God I didnt buy,trade, or sell with him. We almost had a deal but thankfully we didnt agree to anything but you might want to take his name out of the Thread. Mods dont like that but PM a Mod and they'll do something

Just saying this from what i saw. But earlier in the year when walmart sold the complete sets of topps, the sets also came with a "gold refractor" and i know these were not numbered. Perhaps typing in walmart gold refractor on the bay might lead you to finding your card.

ya I got lucky someone gave me the heads up. I haven't sent anything out to him yet for this very reason. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this with one of the mods. Thansk for the post justin
