blahh, that stinks because I want to just pick up a few packs up of retail at Walmart and all they have is 08/09 Victory.

I got a Luke Schenn black from a Wal-Mart box. It was worth the I think it was $4.98 a box for like 12 packs.

I finally put the set to bed today. Didn't do the update but I've got 1-250 and all the insert sets. Happy happy joy joy! Just in time for the 09-10 season!

According to Beckett...it says scheduled for release on August 4th.

As to looking in your tagline to being new to collecting. Practice makes perfect. You don't have to break the bank right out of the gate, and simply put there are enough Victory people out there that can help you out, if you were after the set.
From there on you can dabble with all the other sets.
