    Fan Pack Newbie

    So I send out 12 fan pack requests on Monday, mainly hockey, but all of the Dallas teams and most random was to the Puerto Rico Islanders.

    I'll keep you up to date on my success.

    Did already get an email back from the Toronto Maple Leafs stating that they are not sending out fan packs at this time.

    Got my first Fan Pack in today.

    Texas Rangers
    -2 Pocket Schedules
    -Jumbo Card of Michael Young (crumpled and creased from the shipping)
    -Tatoos for kids
    -Young Rangers Entry Brochure
    -Pack of Donruss Texas Rangers Hall of Fame cards

    Not bad I guess. Pretty cool for spending nothing.

    Update

    So I've received two fanpacks this last week.

    ORLANDO MAGIC
    -Couple of Pencils
    -Couple of Pocket Schedules
    -Thunder Sticks
    -Magazine/Game Program

    DALLAS STARS
    -4 Jumbo Cards
    -Marty Turco refrigerator magnet
    -Mini Pennant
    -Pocket Schedule
    -Stickers
    -Letter


    So no huge scores in either fanpack. Used the Stars stickers on my Mike Modano PC binder.

    I'll keep posting what I get. And it is still neat to get stuff for free.

    They are packages that teams will send you of some promotional goodies usually at no cost if you just ask for them.

    Read some of the other posts and you'll get a hang of it.

    Not a bad way to have that "mail day" experience if you haven't bought or traded lately.
