Upper Deck Redemption Replacement came in today!!!

Ok, so as some of you may know, a month and a half ago I busted a box of 07-08 Ultimate Collection and pulled Kobe Ultimate Commitment auto #'d to 25.

The inventory was "depleted" so they had me give them replacement players for the Kobe, I told them either Kobe, Lebron, or MJ...since they are around the same value, well MJ is much more

lol

Sooo, FedEx came yesterday and I missed them as I was taking my last final for the summer semester. They came again today and I was here to receive the package

Here is what they replaced my Kobe redemption for:

Lebron James 05-06 UD Portraits Scrapbook Signatures auto/25

Think it was a good replacement???

Personally, I think that replacement is a little silly. First off it's a horrible auto. I kinda looks like he scribbled on the sticker. Secondly, you had a redemption for a Kobe auto /25 from a set that costs way more than UD Potraits. It just seems like the Kobe would be worth more.

Yea that's what I was thinking, but I was going to hold off and wait to see what everybody else thought, I was really hoping on getting another Kobe auto, but idk...and I think Lebron signed his cards like that at first, and then a certain year after he started signing his signature a bit better. This Lebron is from 05-06 so idk

Should I call Upper Deck?

Being a Kobe fan, I would not mind getting that as a replacement. You should not have any problem trading that for a Kobe auto, if that's what you want.

Redemptions just suck in general man. I mean you buy product A and pull a redemption out of it for a Kobe Bryant auto/25. Now you picked product A to buy because you liked the set. So you're excited about your Kobe auto/redemption and you go to redeem it ONLY to find out that FOR SOME BIZARRE reason, upper deck has no more cards like the 1 you ARE SUPPOSED to receive. So now you receive an autograph from a DIFFERENT PLAYER and even a DIFFERENT SET/YEAR altogether......

You see what I'm saying? You spent your $$$ on product A not friggin product X.

Yea true, I mean, they asked which players they could replace my redemption with and I mentioned Lebron as one of my picks. And yea, I mean, send me a Lebron auto fine, but atleast from the same set right? Idk if I will try and get another replacement for the lebron that they sent in, if I do, they will probably disappoint me even more sending me a worse card lol knowing how they have been replacing redemptions.

Jeebus: yea thanks, I hope I can trade this Lebron for a Kobe auto, that would be awesome. But who would? lol
