Do Card companies send redemptions via certified letter?

Hey i have a redemption coming and this will be my second. They had some trouble locating me in the system but had my redemption code. Anyway card was delayed, then the had it. I missed the door today and apparently have a certified letter from Topps. Is this common? Will I get extras, replacement or crap? Any info woud be great.

Never received anything certified from any of the companies! They do like to save money that way!

The only redemption I received certified was my jim brown icons autographed lettermen from ud,other than that all my redemptions have come regular mail in the standard yellow bubble mailers. If you have to sign for it that might be a good thing as if the value is over 100 dollars most companies make you sign to receive it.Take care Steve

It was for a Redemption I sent in March. After I didnt hear anything I called and asked for a replacement. Then they couldnt find me, last time I called they said the card was in and to expect it in 4-6 weeks. I called last week, so maybe it is something good. I gave them my address on the phone. I don't want to get too excited.
