VOTE: The CNN Report Card - Second 100 Days
http://reportcard.cnn.com/
Now is your chance to grade the Obama Administration and Congress on how its handled the second 100 days in office.
Vote now on CNN.com, and then tune in to CNN TV on August 6, 2009 at 8p ET for the final grades.
Go and vote, but more importantly, look at the results. The handling of the economy is bad, the handling of health care reform is worse, and the performance of Congress is just about as bad as it can get.

The results are in:
ON THE ECONOMY: C-
12% of people gave it an A and 7% even gave it an A+...are you serious? I'm sure those aren't rabid Obama supporters just trying to make things look better...
ON THE OBAMASTRATION'S HANDLING OF HEALTH CARE REFORM: D
D...failing. 49% gave it an F. Basically half gave it the worst possible grade and that's from CNN where the readers' tilt is usually to the left. But Obama, Pelosi, and pals know what's best for the American people more than the American people obviously.
ON THE OBAMASTRATION'S HANDLING OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS: C
One of the biggest surprises for me: The fact that Hillary Clinton is one of the brightest spots of the administration....just wow.
ON THE PERFORMANCE OF HILLARY CLINTON: C+
Again, total shocker to me.
ON VICE PRES JOE BIDEN: C-
He gets bonus points for making people laugh apparently. What has he actually done that was good...everything I've heard about is him saying something he shouldn't have.
ON THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR STATE'S TWO SENATORS: C-
Apparently people think their own reps are doing better than Congress as a whole.
ON THE PERFORMANCE OF CONGRESS: D
52% voted F...5% voted A-, A, or A+ combined...nothing else needs to be said.
ON THE PERFORMANCE OF REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP IN CONGRESS: D
Only 40% voted F (I know, still terrible) and 8% voted A-, A, or A+...so the Republican leadership is doing better than Congress as a whole at least.
ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MEDIA: D
Obviously...yet people still listen to them to find out what they're supposed to think.
ON PRESIDENT OBAMA: C-
"We don't like what he's doing, but he's still doing just a smash up job!"
Any discussion now?

just amazing to me.... you seriosly vote a C for his handling of foreign affairs? So, which things have you liked so far? The sending letters to North Korea? sending more troops into Afghanistan, or getting a US ship taken over by pirates?

I didn't vote a C...those are the results from the CNN.com report card poll. Notice I said "brightest," not bright...a very dim bulb in a room of burnt out bulbs is not bright, but it's the brightest.
And are you really blaming Obama for pirates attacking a ship? I lay a lot of blame at his feet, but even I can't do that.

sorry... didnt mean you specifically... just meaning anyone but me lol... and no... i dont blame obama for the pirates.. just the third foreign affairs event that popped in my head.. if i thought about it though i am sure i could come up with multiple other cases of poor handling of foreign affairs by the obama admin

How so? Deficit is much worse ($1.3 trillion...that's trillion with a "T"...and it hasn't even been a full year yet), we're still in a Middle East war and sending more troops, the partisan lines are just as strong as they ever were under Bush (despite Obama "promising" to fix that), unemployment is extremely high and he's enacting regulations that aren't helping the situation, raising taxes on the middle class is already being discussed in the admin even though he promised less than a year ago they wouldn't be raised, he pushed through the joke stimulus package, he's trying to push through major health care legislation without giving it the necessary consideration it deserves, he's trying to push through major health care, global warming, and economic packages all at once, he has upheld or failed to change several unpopular policies from the Bush admin including the infamous wiretapping issue, he nominated a political activist judge with a terrible judicial record to the Supreme Court, the economy is still in the tank despite his stimulus, unemployment has already risen higher than he said it would, the North Korea situation is no closer to being resolved, the Iran situation is no closer to being resolved, the government has taken over many major private corporations...how is he doing better. The few things he has done that are good are minor and pale in comparision to how he's screwing up the major things.
And by the way, Bush wouldn't be here even if Obama wasn't elected, so doing better than Bush is not a valid point here.

He's doing better than bush. How? the media and the left have demonized bush so much that everybody just makes these broad assumptions that he was just a terrible president. Its usually backed up with about as many facts as we have about obamas health care plan. Then comes the natural left spin about Iraq, katrina, Oil, and blah, Blah, Blah. News Flash- A lot of the lefts opposition just concede the point about Bush to shut them up and move on to the current issue. You will hear people say two wrongs dont make a right and things like that. That is because we live in today. The political right and the Bush administration did not and could not waste all of their time combating the loony left and the media. There were obviously more pressing issues. Unfortunately, the lies from the left were and are repeated so often that they have become facts in a lot of peoples minds. Its really sad.....
On Hillary Clinton, Its strange. I was talking with my father and we both agreed that we were glad that she is there. Its a releif to know that someone with a lot of politicol connections and knowledge is involved in foreign affairs. There are so many radicals in this administration that I am looking to Clinton to keep them grounded. Thats scary. She cant stop them, but she can go to the press if their inexperience and irresponsibility is putting the country in too much danger.
