yeah, i was leaving guys like O.J. & Rae Carruth off, because they wouldn't be able to take the field this season...I considered Travis Henry, but there was already enough running backs on my roster
I actually met Bam Morris when I was a kid...I remember when he & Tamarick Vanover were being indicted for a multi-state drug ring...Bam was smart enough to retire from the NFL a few days before the indictment was handed down, and therefore couldn't be punished by the NFL (not sure if it still works that way with Officer Goodell)
Did Bam Morris end up doing jail time? I always thought he was acquitted or had his charges dropped, because he ended up back in the league with Chicago....Vanover I don't think was so lucky...would have to look that stuff up

Bam Morris did time a couple of times. For his first offense while he was a Steelers he got off with a $7000 fine and 200 hours of community service. His second drug charge earned him 30 months in prison (only served about 1 year from Sept 2000-Aug 2001). He was released on parole and then violated his parole and got 10 years. He served about 3 years of that 10 year sentence (Sept 2001 - July 2004) and was paroled again.
He is actually eligible to play in the NFL right now but nobody has called.

No, Morris had way more time in jail than Vanover. Vanover only spent 2 months in jail, while Morris was in prison for almost a total of 4 years from his drug case and violating his parole.

A few to possibly add to your list:
Chargers OL Ben Coleman - sentenced to 3 years for tax evasion - not sure if he is out yet
Giants OL Kareem McKenzie - don't know what came of it but he got slapped with a DUI a year or two ago
Dolphins DE/DT Randy Starks - facing aggravated battery charges for hitting a police officer with his truck and fleeing the scene

wow...i was way off....i thought his stint with chicago was after being with Kansas City, but apparently it was before that...
I also thought he was pulled over outside of Pittsburgh with 6 pounds of marijuana within a month or two after Super Bowl XXX, but apparently it was in Texas with closer to 9 pounds (wikipedia doesn't really clear this up....but why else would he have been sentenced in Texas?)
Wiki also says he was released by the Steelers after his conviction, but I thought he was released within a few days of being arrested...
