wow, how about that
Kariya took that nasty shot from Scott Stevens in the Finals, came back same game to score and help the Ducks win that game,
and now he's traded
so much for loyalty
and I'm moving this over to the hockey board sports talk

He was an unrestricted free agent and for some reason he wanted to take a paycut with the Avs vs. Ducks.

This sucks. I wish that Jariya did not leave the Ducks. Selanne should have just come back to the ducks and they could have palyed together there.

i am glad that they are reunited and can't believe that they took such a paycut to play with the Avs. the avs offence is loaded Forsberg, Sakic, Hejduk, Kariya, Selanne...

I had guessed that those 2 would be back with the Ducks. They both signed for 7 mil total for one year. Too bad they still don't have a goalie.
The salaries are whats making this hard to stay optimistic. They still have room for a goalie, I think.

I was watching ESPN and they it said Kariya is only getting 1.2 million!!!!! Is this true or was it meant to be 10.2 million?
