    Practice Jerseys to Have Advertisments

The NBA will allow advertising on practice jerseys this season, according to a report in USA Today.

The NFL is allowing teams to sell advertising space on their practice jerseys as well.

Practice jerseys fine, but please let's not do this for the actual games. I'm sorry I just can't picture an M&M's logo on NBA or NFL jerseys. It gives me an impression of cash-strapped leagues, whether it is or is not the case.

please no advertising on the actual jersey! Practice is fine. I know in the Philippines Basketball Association, advertising sucks! I hate watching the Burger King Whoppers beating up on the Tender Juicy Giants!

Makes sense to me...the WNBA has advertising on some of the teams actual jerseys as well...with so many businesses having trouble staying afloat, this not only helps the league, but also those businesses, because how many millions of people watch games?

It would be cool if they start putting patches of practice jerseys into cards. We could see some crazy patches.

On the other hand, though, it wouldn't mean as much to people because it wasn't worn in an actual game.
