    I voted no but when you have players like Howard, he can maybe be close to it because most of his fieldgoals are dunks

    And that is .031 behind the .599 career percentage - so, he'd essentially have to shoot .630 for the next 5 years, and that is just to tie Gilmore's record...of course, the shots would have to be the same amount in these next 5 years as they were over his first 5 seasons.

    I don't think it will happen, but...

    DeAndre Jordan shot 63.3% in his rookie year last season. He went 93-147. I don't think he can keep that pace up though.
