Kurt Rambis - Wolves' Head Coach

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...yhoo&type=lgns

The irony.... Kevin McHale took a dirty hit on Rambis, which almost caused a brawl. Now Rambis takes over Kevin's job. :)

I'm a fan of Kurt Rambis' goggles. You think they could make a GU card out of those?

    I'm Happy for Rambis!

He does deserve to be a coach....just not with the Lakers. I think now this guarantees that Brian Shaw will be Phil Jackson's successor, not unless the Lakers go after Byron Scott.

Also, I know Nathan must love the fact that a Laker was chosen to fix the mess a Celtic made, lol.

Hopefully, he could do big things in Minnesota, like guide them back into Playoff contention.

I liked him as a player so hopefully he can be a better coach, even though he is not on a good team. He can make a difference on this team

This isn't official yet, as far as I know...but, he is the front-runner for the job still, with Mark Jackson (ESPN analyst, over 10k career assists) and a Rockets assistant coach (can't recall his name) as the other possiblities...but, I would be satisfied with Rambis taking over head-coaching duties - he was a coach of a championship team last year, and a coach on a team that made the NBA finals in back-to-back seasons...so, he knows what he's doing...hopefully, if this does become official, he can turn the franchise around - we have tons of young talent - just need someone with half a brain to run the team and not make stupid trades.

Also, I know Nathan must love the fact that a Laker was chosen to fix the mess a Celtic made, lol.

I never liked McHale...he made bad moves often...he did some good things for the Wolves, but it was mostly overshadowed by his bad GM decisions...so, I don't have any bad feelings about Rambis, aside from the fact that he helped the Lakers win the title! LOL
