Any thoughts??
So..I picked up '1' of these already from this guy..but, I see he now has MORE. Anyone every heard of "STADIUM SPORTS??". I mean..I'm SURE it's not the $120 BV he's saying, but, for $3-$4 I figured..what the heck.

dunno. looks like an unlicensed card to me. The picture is exactly the same as my '94 Beckett so it's copyrighted. And PCA Grading? Another mom and pop knockoff grading company obviously set up to confuse novice collectors between them and PSA. If you like it, though, $3 ain't much.

Never heard of that card before Evan, but it does look cool...have you done a Google search for the set/series? Maybe you could find out more info there...

Exactly what happened to me - thought I was getting some graded 10 PSA cards off ebay years ago, but they are by Professional Grading Authority, or PGA - not PSA...lol

The card is definatly an unliscensed issue sometimes called "Broder cards" back in the day. Cards like that were everywhere back in the early 90's always capitalizing on the hot players who were the flavor of the month. Remember this was in the era where there were no gu'd cards, auto cards were not as plentiful, and insert cards that were foil and shiny ruled the day. Often these cards sold for a $1-3 bucks a piece if I remember correctly.
As far as the grading company, I agree with an earlier post. It is a mom and pop grading slab setup to confuse novice collectors. I do not even think PSA or BGS would grade that card because it is unliscensed.
If you like it though and its for your PC and not for investment all the above really doesn't matter. Enjoy your new addition.

Fiskfactor: Yah..I think I have a Stadium Sports card of A.Kornikova also. I knew right off the bat I wasn't paing over $5 for the card..and it IS going in PC, so, adding a Jordan card for only $3 is worth it..lol.
Don: Yup...sent him a message on Ebay asking him his source on pricing..he never answered..lol. I guess that's my answer.
Thanks all!!
