How come the rookies from last year (D Rose, etc) were in the 07-08 Finest boxes, but they are 08-09 Rookies, and it looks like finest has done that a while / are the going to still do it w/ Blake Griffin's D Class?

Those types of RCs are called XRCs or extended rookie cards......finest products have been doing this since 02-03, but since topps is losing their license you will not be seeing any Griffin XRCs from an 08-09 finest product which did not release
