    Jersey or Patch?

I received this card today, and it calls it a patch. However, it looks like a GU to me, and the series is Patchworks (and its Level 1). Considering all of these facts, I was wondering what it is technically labeled. Please let me know - thanks!

just because it come from a set call "patchworks" does not mean it is a patch(multicolored)

I have several "patch" cards from sets that are just one color pieces of jersey material

ICED CARDS - I completely understand what you are saying. I know not all Patchworks cards are patches, but this one specifically says Game Used Patch on the card.

Not necessarily. A patch is just what they sew onto the jersey (i.e. nameplate, number, logo). You can have a single color patch. On the back of the Maverics jersey, the inside of the number is white. That's probably where the patch comes from.

Ok, thanks. I wonder why they turned it around then? Anyway, should I call it a patch then? I don't want to misrepresent my card.

Sometimes if it is a questionable patch like that you can tell what it is by the texture- the patches are usually made of a different material than the jerseys are.

Where did you get that info? It says right on the card "game used Patch".
