Maybe this is a stupid question, but i was just wondering....
why is shipping $25 for a redemption?

Because it is being shipped Express Mail with tracking and insurance. You don't want a card of that value being mailed in a plain bubble mailer at first class rates. If this was mine I would insist it be sent via Registered Mail. Package is signed for every time it changes hands. That way no claims of "lost in the mail, or "I never received it and I want a refund"

thats true, but i thought with redemptions they can just email u the code. maybe not something that high in value? im sorry im just wonderin cuz i never baught a redemption off ebay b4 but i heard they can just email the code.

Like they said. You COULD get him to email the redemtion to you, but then what if there is a problem with it?
For something that nice, get the card UNSCRATCHED. (That's how I've always bought redemtions on eBay. Send me the card).
