BIG THANKS!! - and I'm naming names!

For slightly longer than the month of July, I embarked on a wonderful cross-Canada drive to visit a good friend out in Calgary. Before I left, I was exremely active on the trade front, knowing that I'd be taking a bit of a hiatus from the hobby while I was gone. Unfortunately, although I had intended to do so, I was short on time and unable to leave a post on the boards announcing my absence to my trade buddies (and intention to clear up all trade manager activity once I was able to get home and confirm that the cards had arrived).


I'm really pleased to say that every trade except for one (no card from member whose account is now suspended) was completed without issue. What's really the cause of this post, however, was how understanding and courteous everyone was about the situation. Without knowing what was going on until late in July, when I was finally able to sit down at an internet cafe and log into the site, there wasn't a single complaint, or a drop of rudeness, from any of the traders who were waiting for the confirmation on my end that their cards had arrived. It was long enough that anyone who wanted to send me a subtle, or not-so-subtle, "get your butt in gear" wouldn't have been out of line. Also, I'm sure we've all had a trade or two sit there in the trade manager for longer than we wanted, and the desire to finish it up and clear it out is certainly there! Still, everyone was very cool about it.

I really like these shout out's. I did one of my own when I hit the 20 barrier, and it is a welcome thing in my books to see these other than the negative bad feeling, poopy pants, wha wha! Cry my brains out because I got duped posts........ Although entertaining they can be.

Good on you for bringing your story up man, and advertising the good traders.
