    Talk about a juggarnaut ....

The UFC is rolling, and Dana White dropped a small bomb at the Q&A session that really didn't, or hasn't, gotten too much attention.

He said they are thinking of merging the WEC into the UFC ...

WOW, could you imagine the possibilities. Already most of the worlds top heavier weight fighters, plus a new crop of lighter weight veteran talent and up-and-coming superstars.

THe UFC keeps rolling, and I'm with them all the way.

Ef M1-Global. Ef Strikeforce. and ef anything else that thinks mixed martial arts won't be the biggest sport in the world!

No, I don't work for UFC. It's simply the truth, right?

I hope not that would mean that the UFC would have to add around 5 shows a year so you would have a PPV twice a month. that is just too much and the UFC cards will get waterd down. mabe move the light weight division to WEC and then they could do A PPV once a year. I also think UFC should bring back some of the weight divisions in WEC make it like a minor League for the UFC so more of the young fighters had a stepping stone to the UFC I dont think the TUF does enoug to bring up talant too many guys are getting killed in the UFC (Mac Danzig) after TUF they need to develop there skill more and get some more fights under ther belts and then go to the BIG show.

I think its a good idea... its quite possible that UFC will be aired by ESPN soon anyways. WEC merger isnt a bad idea.

ZUffa already owns the WEC. The good thing i can see of this is that we can more title fights on PPVs. It can also lead to some interesting fights, Varner vs Penn, and they can try and work a deal to get Torres (viva la raza!) vs Faber

As long as UFC adds more free shows on TV (like Fight Night) to replace the WEC shows already seen on Versus, then I don't have a problem with it.

Dunno about that, I kinda like keeping the WEC separate and keeping their shows on Vs. It's nice to have some quality fights on that you don't have to shell out $50 for.

Exactly! Thats is why I hope they don't through with the idea of putting WEC on ppv.
