I sweat a lot...and like cards and autographs
Hello members of Sports Card Forum, prepare to have your life altered. I am 6'3" (big), have a high propensity to sweat even after little physical activity (sweaty), and my name is Adam (guy). I started getting into card collecting after receiving a couple of hobby packs of some 1996 UD Collector's Choice football cards on Christmas Day at the age of 6. I soon expanded my collection mainly through rummage sales/flea markets, with much of the cards I got being in poor condition. That didn't matter to me at the time, but I wish I had been more careful with my cards. Believe it or not, I actually played football/baseball/basketball with my cards, with the cards serving as players according to their positions. So as a result, good cards such as my 1990 Pro Set Emmitt Smith rookie would be ruined by a "tackle" from 1992 Upper Deck Pat Swilling. Yes, I was stupid.
Anyway, since I'm stranded in rural/suburban Wisconsin and am too cheap/lacking in confidence of my driving in unfamiliar areas where sporting events occur, I don't do a lot of IP graphing. I also stick to flea markets to increase my card collection, because I don't like the idea of dropping $60 for a box or $3 for a pack of 12 cards. As a result, I lack a lot of modern cards, so I'm hoping to win some contests on here to change that. Even though I don't do IP or really know how to do IP, I still enjoy reading successes both here and on sportsgraphing.com. I decided to become a member on this site because it's free. I know quite a bit about TTM and signing habits for many players so feel free to send me a PM if you have questions.
I'll be attending UW-Madison this fall, so I hope to get autographs from some of the men's basketball teams that visit the Kohl Center, along with the musical/comedy acts that visit campus. I'm not ready to 50-50 yet though, as I'll try to get experience under my belt first. Sorry about the long post, but no one asked you to read it anyway.

Hi Adam! Welcome to SCF! I really like your opening post...it honestly made me laugh at certain parts! I love how you "played" the sports with your cards...but at least you aren't ashamed enough to admit it now!
Anyway, hope you have a great time here, and good luck adding to your collections!
