    Panini Prestige

I was just looking at the checklist of Panini´s first product and it looks good

The old school insert set with

    Connie Hawkins
    Bob McAdoo
    Dan Issel
    Kevin McHale
    David Thompson
    Bill Bradley
    Ralph Sampson
    Kenny "Sky" Walker
    Bryant Reeves
    Dave Cowens
    Joe Dumars
    Oscar Robertson

with parallel autos cought my attention. Every set has at least 2 parallel sets. Most people don´t like too many parallels but it´s cool with me

like the old school players so far, except Reeves, he's got to go.

Parallels are fine, Donruss has been doing that with inserts waay before Panini came in. But of course haters will come in and start bashing over insert parallels.

I collect Hall of Fame autos so I like the list of old school inserts. There are a lot of players I could think of to add to that list, though. Right now they're rolling the dice with these exclusive rookie contracts. Chris from UD already said their athletes, MJ, Kobe, LBJ, would not be signing for Panini.

I'm still on the fence until more product releases hit the market. Prestige is just their first product so I'm reserving judgement. The Pen Pals card does look nice, though. You can't go wrong with on-card autos.
