Thumbs up Crazy Precious Metal Gem Green Duncan

Before posting this, I deelply considered to make thread before ending Ebay auction.

Because there is possiblity to advertise something and someone even I don't have anything to do with certain seller and auction.

But price has been already over 1,500$ so there might be no possiblity to interrupt someone's bidding if I make thread about this card.

IMO, only hardcore 90's card collectors or Tim Duncan collectors will bid this card at the moment.

Anyway, this is really the craziest..right?

P.S. : Frankly speaking, I had plan to bid this card(even I have not been a fan of Duncan) but I gave up.
(Because of higher and higher price than my planned price.)

Because I already have same # card(009 OF 100) as Penny and T-MAC.
(If it displayed side by side, that would be crazy nice. Anyway I will not be able to get that crazy card.)

    It's a very nice card!

I was told by a friend that there was someone at the National with 2 of them, I believe they were both graded.

I also know another person who has 2 of them, so add this one in and we got half the print run tracked.

I think that price is appropriate. =)

    Not under and over paying,IMO.

Actually I thought it might go over 2,000 $. But there might be no Hardcore Tim Duncan Collector.
(Or maybe they already have that card as other serial #ed.)

Wow, that went for a nice chunk of cash! I saw that when it first was listed and figured it would go for a lot, but that's more than I was thinking! Those are beautiful cards. I hope to find me a Bobby Phills someday.

Yah, Jake, Hope to get Bobby Phills as nice price someday. =)

For TD Gem Green there might be some reasons can be assumed ended like that.(I thought it would end over 2,000$.)

    1) Most of TD Hardcore collectors might already have that card

    2) That card is TD card. Not MJ, KB, T-MAC(another RC) etc.
(Of course, TD is very nice(As my thought all time # 1 PF) but actually he has not popular)

Even we consider that above reasons and no autograph, no patch but just serial #ed (and colored lol) card ended like that is amazing. lol

I've seen a few of those Green Gems sell for a nice chunk of cash on almost any player in the set. Those are definitely rare and some collectors out there for those
