Anyone seen the new exquisite?
I watched some breaks that Chri5784 and apparently if you get a Printing plate, you only get one other hit! Thats not worth the 500 plus dollars on one box for a plate. Check out the link, you will see what I mean. Personally I am disgusted that Upper Deck would do that.

heres another break from Chris, this one was put together correctly.
btw, if a mod could add the word has in front of the word anyone in the title that would be great thanks! I was in such a rush i forgot it!Last edited by beishuizen91; 08-12-2009 at 09:03 PM.

When there are $10,000 cards in a product you cant always get your money back. Not every box has a Lebron Auto, Kobe Auto, Jordan Auto, or Logoman. I cant believe somebody would complain after a Kobe Plate 1/1 and a Vince Carter 1/1 Plate... along with a top 10 (skill wise) rookie auto patch.

good point, although I never really got into loving printing plates. they made 1/1s easier to get sort of but they don't seem very special when you think about it. it's like a manufactured patch sort of

I'm not a printing plate fan either, but people forget that it is in fact the actual plate(s) used to make all the other cards. So it kinda has a neat aspect to it if you think about it. On the other hand, I think they should be auto'd every time in a high-end product like Exquisite.
I think people who are getting plates w/o other hits should get something from UD because they are kind of getting hosed on that box though by shorting the rest simply for a plate.

I'd be pretty upset if I spent the cash on Exquisite and ended up a patch auto, printing plate and 3 base cards...

The Rookies /25 are worth quite a bit of money. And I am sure that Kobe 1/1 Plate will fetch quite a pretty penny.

I agree. If the plates were autographed then it would make it one of the better kinds of inserts to pull, considering the way you put it and then having an auto on top of it all.

I totally agree with Spacedog and explosive. Plates are very nice, but its not what you were hoping for. I do think they should get those plates auto'd. That would be amazing!
