Goodell Suspends Stallworth for year

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth has been suspended without pay for the 2009 season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and its substance abuse policy, the league said Thursday.

I say good...25 days in jail was not enough for my tastes, regardless of the circumstances.

I agree. All Mike Vick did was executed some dogs and got 2 years in jail (6 games is too long)
Stallworth executed a human being while drunk and got 24 days in jail (season long suspension)
Since when, in America, did we decide to value animal life over human life.
Roger Goodell knows what he is doing.

But Stallworth reached a payment settlement with the family of the man he killed, that's why he got off easy with the jail time. He is under house arrest for 2 years I believe. Glad to see Goodell giving him a harsh suspension.

Doesn't bother me.
My company won't hire people with a criminal record... neither should the NFL.
