New Years' resolutions...in August
So everyone says that they are going to do something different, or stop doing something at New Years' each year, but how many of us actually stick to it? Probably very few...but, I am trying to stop doing something, as of about a month ago. I've decided that I'm going to stop drinking soda...since I started, I have had a few sodas, but it's been very few - I believe I've had one 12 oz can and one 20 oz bottle in the last month, compared to drinking about 1- 12 oz can per day...but I haven't had any soda for at least a week and a half...I feel like I'm doing pretty well, though!
So, who wants to go along with me and stop/start doing something that you should, but have been putting off? Whether it be smoking, drinking, exercising, whatever! We can use this thread as a place to keep track of what we do, and how we're doing. Let's go!

I've recently done the same with soda. Here are some things I'm going to try to do:
-Only 16 oz max of soda per week
-Don't eat after 9 PM
-Workout with weights 4 times a week
-Get all As on my report card
-Have 4,200 dollars saved in my personal savings account by January 1st 2010
-Not crash in the 7 months I have my permit(got it yesterday)
-Come up with a stand up comedy joke once a day
-Get into selling some of my sports cards
-Get an article into Tuff Stuff Magazine
BTW anyone who can help me out with the procedures to selling my sports cards please PM me. I want to know how I should report my profits for tax, and pretty much any other thing I need to know. I'll come up with more things later. We should keep this thread up and revisit how we do with our weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. Good Idea!

My plan is to finally get on a reasonable sleeping schedule. I have the diet and exercise thing going well now, and I also recently cut down on the sodas in favor of water - but I can't seem to get to sleep at good hours unless there is an absolute need for me to be up at a certain hour. Yet I want it to be that way even when I don't have to get up at 7-9 AM, because I will probably have to start getting up again at those hours in time. Better to get used to it then to have to adjust it quickly.

I used to drink a lot of soda, talking at least 6-8 canes per day. I'm down to about 3-4 per week. It was hard at first, but became easy. Next goal is to reduce my body fat to about 7%, currently sitting at around 13 or so
