Please tell me that Topps didn't replace Bowman with......
Bowman Draft Picks? Has anyone else heard this? Bowman is one of Topps' best sets every year and it would be a shame to see it replace by this garbage (and ugly) set.

BDP replaced progression/topps DPP, not regular bowman

From what I have heard,Topps did replace regular Bowman with BDP.There is no mention of a regular Bowman set anywhere.The Chrome will have the rookies in their pro uniforms though.

ya man that stuff is grabage i bought a box for 39.95 i mean the autos werent bad for 40 bucks but the base rookies and vet base are ugly bowman used to look way better it would suck if they did

It's a logical move though...Why have Bowman and Topps that come out around the same time. Same quality, same kind of set...they were basically the same thing. Now they have a decent draft product (much better than RP they tried last year) and don't have two competing brands released together.

yah it was the only real logical choice, the same company releasing 2 different products that are really only competing with each other, so shift the one to a draft product, which bowman draft was a really nice draft product, and keep the other one as it was and instead of 2 similar competing products they have 2 completely different products.
As for bowman chrome, i havent heard anything about this, are they even going to make the chrome version. wouldnt make sense cause all it would do is compete with topps chrome. Ive heard about the topps chrome and bowman sterling, but nothing about a bowman chrome.
