PayPal Q
I have a credit card linked to my paypal account. If I have a $0.00 paypal balance and send someone money, will paypal automatically charge my cc for the amount?
I used to have my bank account linked. I would then transfer money from my bank account into my paypal account. Which would give me a + paypal balance. I would then use that money to purchase something. However, the bank account transfer takes like 3-5 business days.
Was I making things harder for myself by thinking that I need to have a + paypal balance to purchase items? Does everyone just leave there paypal balance at $0.00 with a credit card linked for paypal to charge?
I hope my post makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.

jmoak,
Yes, if your paypal balance is $0.00 and you purchase something it will just charge the bank account/credit card linked to the account. Yes you were making it harder for yourself by keeping a positive paypal account. I leave my paypal account at $0 and when I purchase something it automatically deducts the amount from my checking acount.
