Player select help needed
Hi guys,
I collect a lot of sp authentic future watch cards. Right now I have the choice of getting a Rick Nash, Jason Speeza or an Ilya Kovalchuk. None are my favourite player, but I wanted to get one more from this product. Just wanted a general opinion on who to get. Thanks!

I'd take the Nash...... but can't knock Kovy either. I would just suggest that you should get "not Spezza".

Nash is definately more consistant than Spezza who tends to lose his scoring edge every now and then and when it bad, it's bad. If you look at it this way: Nash got an invite to the Team Canada Olympic training camp which he is likely guaranteed a spot on the roster. Spezza wasn't even invited until just the other day when they decided they would let him try and crack the team (to Spezza's credit though we have tons of centremen). Nash can put up big numbers without the help of other superstars on his line. Spezza mainly played with Alfredsson and Heatley.

that is a very good point. The Jackets are in way better shape for now anyway than the Senators. The market in Columbus is smaller but should grow. I just find that Spezza's sp authentic rookie cards are way to over priced.

That's an understatement!
Go with Nash. He has a better level of consistant play.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd

I think Kovy or Nash are both better options as well. I've heard Spezza used to be a tough signer but now there are a plethora of Spezza certified cards out there.
Kovy and Nash are pure goalscorers and I think they will have longer careers. One trade/FA Signing to a bigger market club and those cards jump in price. I still see Nash in a Red Wings jersey within 5 years.

Nash to Detroit within 5 years? I'm curious how you can come to that conclusion. Was it the 8 year contract extension he signed, or the no-trade clause that makes you think Columbus is going to be shipping him out?
