I'm not sold on the 2008/09 The Cup redemptions, the press release makes it clear he will appear in the onset of 2009/10 products but says nothing about any remaining 2008/09 products/redemptions.

The release makes it clear he will be EXCLUSIVE starting next season. All of his old redemptions will be filled. I confirmed that with UD as I have an outstanding redemption with them right now.

Now Crosby and Ovechkin both have exclusive deals with UD I think ITG is in trouble without Ovechkin. Should be a good year to buy boxes with the rookie crop that is expected!

That's very good news for UD! So does this mean we'll finally see a Crosby/Ovechkin dual auto, patch, GU'd card, etc. or is Crosby still to good to be featured with Ovie?

It's not just AO, but ANYONE, Sid and his daddy want nothing to do with it. It's a shame too, can you imagine a dual auto shield of Crosby and Ovechkin?

howdy kelly! yeah, the exclusive kinda bites. i just wish they would not flood the market with AO auto cards (not just AO - Gretzky, Orr, Crosby too). i liked it much better when an SP was really an SP and when you pulled a Gretzky or Orr auto - you really had something somewhat rare.
