Thats true, but you cant be complete without an offense. To me defense seems more important, but having a great defense and not excecuting on offense doesnt get you to the Super Bowl.

i think the pats have the better defense but their line is horrible against the run...i think they will use one of their first round picks to improve their line

Patriots have a pretty good defense, would doubt it's the best in the NFL.

the 49ers, at their very best, only had an above-average defense. No defense from our championship years, 1981 / 1984 / 1988/ 1989 / 1994 can compare to the Ravens or the Bears of 1985.

For us to win, we just need an above average defense, b/c our offense is just PHENOMENAL.

That said, we're going to be in trouble next year. Our CBs are horrific (that dude from Miami has ***GOT**** to be converted from CB to free safety or strong safety), and 49ers can't win the west if they can't cover Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt.

I am hoping Niners draft more corners and defense in general. Our offense is fine; we can patch holes with free agent pick ups.

Pats have the better defense; but I think the Raiders, as a team, can beat the Pats should they meet in next year's playoffs.

    Go Rice!!!

Looking forward to another wonderful season from the greatest wide receiver in NFL history.
