Insert clever title here [yep, another newbie thread]
:D
What's up all. Name is Shaun and I guess this is my intro thread. Not too good at these as I'm really more of a wallflower. lol.
I haven't paid any attention to trading cards for probably the last 15 years or so. Used to be in it big back in the late-late 80s and early 90s. Turned 16, got a job, went to college and my collections were left behind. Collected just about everything but mainly football, baseball, basketball and starting lineups. Some hockey, some autographs...stuff like that.
Anyway, not too sure I'm exactly getting back into the hobby but checking things out and how they are today. I originally signed up to see if anyone had input as to software for inventories of cards, but already did my search on here and it seems most create their own. Which is what I'll do in Access (actually the Open Office database program).
So, yeah, HI! :P

Hi Shaun and welcome to SCF....I'm a collector from back in your time period of the 80's & 90's also and have been out of it for about 11 yrs and just got back into it myself...I've checked a lot of sport card forums and this is the best one I've found...try out their Inventory Manager....works real good and has a cool option for downloading your inventory as text. Well hope to see you around.

Thanks krazywolf. I'll check out the manager here too in more detail. I glanced at it before, but I'm looking to catalog as much of my collection as I can (commons included). I'm guessing that'll easily get into the 100k's range. lol.
Twins fan? Noticed your avatar and have seen at least one other with a Vikings avatar. I'm born and raised in MN so I've been a MN sports fan all my life. :)
