    I'm calling it quits,no more Garnett # 5/x cards

I mentioned it in my mailday thread the other day but sticking to my words this time around. The letters in my sig is already sold for $500.00 cash next week. It cost me a little over $450.00 to spell Garnett and to be honest,I'll miss chasing them # 5/x cards. I had an issue happen with a jersey # 5/5 Exquisite after I paid and I'm shattered over the situation. I've lost the desire of collecting Garnett jersey # 5/x cards after the situation that occured.
You people have been more than kind to me on here since I joined and I appreciate that. You guys know how to make others feel comfortable and at home.

I got one more mailday of a jersey # 5/75 from Japan that should arrive soon.
Have a good weekend SCF,see you on my last mailday.

Wow! That sucks to see you quit colecting 5/xx cards of KG. You had ammassed an amazing collection. I wish you the best and hope you decide to come back and collect something else in the future.

Dang man, sorry to hear about this. :(

If you don't mind me asking, what were the circumstances?

Just curious because I had a similar bout over a card and I almost decided to chuck my collect as well.

That's very sad to hear man! I hope you still keep your collection though just as a memory and I'm sure those cards will spike in value once he retires.

    Dennis -

Very sorry to hear this - I truly hope you reconsider, or at least hang on to a few of your prized pickups...but, if you don't, I hope you at least hang around SCF! :-) Shoot me a PM if you feel like it...

I also posted on your mailday thread...

    Take care.

I read the reason why in your other thread. I hate those very shady sellers. But don't let his actions force you to sell your collection. You'll regret it.

I got a table at a local show in Methuen,Massachusetts on 8/30. This is a good way to start selling off the KG # 5/X cards. Whatever is left from the show will go on eBay when I get home that day.

I will keep an auto and a very few selected others(patches).
