My list is too big lol, but i'd suggest 90s hip-hop/rap like Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Dr Dre, etc.

T.I.(although in jail) and Young Jeezy are also other great rappers, and B.O.B. is a nice underground artist from Grand Hustle. He's released quite a few mixtapes, and only one mainstream single.
