ask some other kings fans what they think of blake
I want blake as captain. he has a cup ring, isnt a playoff choke (ala thornton, nabokov, and co.), and has been captain before.

I don't care what other Kings fans think about him, facts are facts:
- He is a proven and seasoned captain
- He is a LOCK for the HHOF
- He is still a solid d-man
- San Jose should be honored to have a "King" lead them
When it came down to it in a poll on LAKings.com, he was voted as one of the top 4 most popular Kings ever, so obviously a lot those fans that talk openly about disliking him to "fit in" were secretly voting for him because they DO respect him.

you think i care either? he's still my favorite player of all time. totally agree. was just stating that if you go on LGK and mention his name you get shunned

I honestly don't know who i want to be captain. thornton is a play off choke. Boyle still feels too new. pavelski seems too young (he is great but always bugged me for some reason). Blake would be good. no ones else seems like they have the character for it. I'd like to see marleau get pumped up by having it taken away and thinking he has something to prove and earning it back but i doubt that that is gonna happen. i can dream.
