    Best high end box?

    Hey all, so as many of you know iam only collecting vintage right now (trying to complete a 61 topps set) but ive been getting really itchy not breaking any boxes so I really have to get one. Anyway I want to break something really high end... So what's the best high end boxes these days?

    Hmmmmmmm...a '61 box would sure be high end LOL.
    Seriously though, I just bought a box of 04 UD Etchings. I'll get it in about a week but everything I've seen on them is that people are getting 7 autos/gu instead of the advertised 6. The box cost me $99 (that's really high end for me lol).

    Etchings is awesome, and you can get them for around $90 shipped on Naxcom until tomorrow (free shipping). 3 GU/3 AU per box. Every box break I've seen has had a low numbered Star/Young up and comer auto in it. I got a Rickie Weeks /25 and a Delmon Young in mine.

    If you are into football the way to go would be hot prospects, or wait until SP authentic came out. I know that it got great hype from the patch auto cards and have made the Rc's even more prestigious to get now.

    If you want something all ready out. It would have to be 04 Hot prospects. The rc patch autos have gotten nothing but super hot praise from the current market. I have seen, and this is no joke, about 20 people wanting this set. This includes SCF's own portisfan26((Grant)) He is quite close as well.

    steer clear of SP Authentic Football ;) It has sucked majorly the last few years and I would be really suprised if it didn't suck this year. 9 outta 10 boxes are miss. very hard to pull anything over $20.

    I would say Hot Prospects for football and Reflections for football also. Cause the Hot Prospect if you pull one of the Super Swatch you basically made your money back cause they selling for 100 percent bv if not more and reflections is cool cause its basicallt a GU or auto per pack and its a lot cheaper than SP Game USed. You might want to check out Naxcom for their prices on those boxes
