using children to push global warming hoax

The kid in this article was promoting planting trees, conservation and energy efficiency. However, he is getting bashed like crazy even though this part of his message is completely accurate simply because he agrees with Al Gore's message of global warming.

Fair enough, but that's not what you said in the post I responded to.

Also, everyone claims to promote energy efficiency, conservation etc. but when it comes down to it and they see that it's not actually a $0 price tag to plant trees and swap out light bulbs the support starts to dwindle and global warming is often used as the scape goat.

Actually, itt's mostly the people on the "global warming" side that pulls that one...including He Who Must Not Be Named.

It's getting kind of old to see blanket attacks on any legislation or action that has anything to do with environmental protection with the response "Global warming is BS" or "Al Gore is a hypocrite".

Because the only legislation or action pushed (or at least that makes the headlines) are ridiculous, unfounded measures that will have a negative impact on the US and it's economy. If Congress would pass something logical, like everyone must recycle, it would make a little more sense. But they only give us the option of Cap and Trade, which isn't worth the paper it's written on.

nobody is bashing the kid. im bashing the people around the kid including his parents 1st off, then gore, the school, and the people who did this story about him. You say the kid is talking about planting trees and doing good things for the planet. You leave out the major problem that he thinks where he is standing will be 10 feet underwater in 40 years. education, especially before college, should be based on facts, not ideology and certainly not based on flat out lies and propoganda. There seems to be a lot of adults manipulating and using this kid.
