I'd have to say I really like the look of Trilogy and Sweet Shot cards, especially the autos from those sets

I like the staple sets, first and foremost:
    UD Series 1 & 2
    SP Authentic
    O-Pee-Chee
    The Cup
    Heroes & Prospects
    Between The Pipes
    Ultimate Memorabilia

A few other sets deserve to be part of that mix, like SPx and Ice, but there are a lot of sets that just aren't necessary... i.e. I love the look of Trilogy and SPGU, but when you've already got The Cup, Sweet Shot, and Ultimate Collection, well, they become unnecessary gambles.

I like low end sets like MVP and, yes, Victory? Why? Because they are great base sets of 200+ cards and are not unnecessary gambles... good quality sets for the price you pay. I put OPC up there at the top because it is one of the most fun to break and collect. But MVP and Victory deserve honourable mention.

Least favourite: Sweet Shot... pretty cards, yep, but that can be done in other sets without usually being a waste of money.

This year I really liked the Black Diamond design as well as OPC Retro cards. OPC Premier was very sweet as well.

Fleer Ultra is OK. But when there's UD Series 1 & 2, I don't see the point of Fleer Ultra.

I'm in the camp that believes 30 sets produced each year is too much and therefore there is a lot of redundancy.

Fleer is always a nice looking set, but when the price if close to UD Ser.1&2, it doesn't make sense to go with Ultra because their rookies don't hold their values as well. Plus you can pull some sweeter hits from UD.

O-Pee-Chee, affordable with some decent hits and a great base selection for each team.
