That Roy is extremely impressive. The Tavares is an amazing patch, but cards without the players image just don't appeal to me. I'm sure this will be a quality product overall.

Totally agree. Unless there is a player photo on the card it just looks tacky and 2nd rate. There is a nice Brodeur Stick rack 1/1 on Ebay right now. Unfortunately ITG killed it. The seller is asking for $1000 OBO, personally I would not pay $20 for it.

I dont know.. so youre saying youd rather have a card with 1/2 the emblem and Tavares pictured, instead of a card that has the full emblem and no player picture?
I personally would go with the full emblem, but maybe thats just me.

i think that there should be a pic of the player on the back, that would make completely insane card!

Did anyone see the latest pics from ITG on this product? There is a Messier Emblem that is ridiculous, the full oil drop from the Oilers logo................

The perfect solution for me would be about 85% of the emblem, with a front of card player photo, off to one side, with a bit of extra cardboard to allow for the players head, similar to the the UD Black Lettermen cards. The worst thing with these ones though, is that there is enough cardboard at the top, to at least fit a small head shot in one corner. That would be good enough for me.
Barring that though, if I had to choose between 100% emblem, with no player picture, and 50% emblem, with player picture, I will pick the one with the image of the player every time. Otherwise, to me it's not really a hockey card. It's just a piece of fabric wrapped in cardboard.
That said, I do have some of these type of cards in my PC, I just don't like them as much as the ones with the player's image on them.
