is this 842 consecutive games or could MJ have sat out a game then played the next one and it still count toward the streak??

After looking at the backs of some Jordan cards, he didn't have 10 straight seasons playing all 82 games - so, he could sit out a game, and the streak would continue, I believe.

I honestly think Lebron has a chance, not saying he will do it, but he has a chance. It is rare for him to score less than 20 a game, because he is relied on so much offensively.

Sure I can see it happening.

The problem is with this, is if he gets injured during a game the streak ends, thus making it matter more on his health then ability to score

Is this for sure? If so, then yes, no one will ever break it. But if the streak DOESN'T end when a player sits out a game at the end of the regular season b/c the game doesn't matter, or gets hurt for three or four games, then I can see someone breaking it.

Its been said you can miss a game, i'm talking about him twisting his ankle or something in the first quarter, the streak is then over

Yea i didnt think he played many seasons where he played all 82 games. I could see Lebron breaking it tho or someone else. Anyone know what Kobe's streak is at?? Gotta be up there

OK, then yea, it's possible.
Kobe's isn't that high....I know LeBron's is at 248. Kobe had under 10 points in a game two seasons ago, so he's probably only around the 100-120 game streak range.

He played multiple 82-game seasons, but not 10 straight - he may've had 3 or 4 straight, but throw in a 78-game, 80-game, etc, in between some of them.
