Bowman 48...has anyone opened or will be opening this stuff!?!?
i think my LCS will be getting this in tomorrow........i will more than likely buy some....need to splurge a couple more times before school starts :)

I opened a hobby box. There are 100 base cards, which were easily assembled from the packs. There is 1 numbered card per pack, and they are parallels with blue borders, # to 1948, or rookies, # to 2009. There are 15 Play cards, which show a diagram of a basketball play and a description, also numbered.
Rookies include the top three picks, which UD Draft did not, but does not include Ricky Rubio.
Cards have pictures of players in their 2008-09 uniforms, but say on the back their new team (Artest on Lakers, Gordon on Pistons, etc.)
Front of the card does not have player name nor team name, it's quite irritating.
Autos are sticker, I got a Kevin Love and a Ben Gordon.
However, I pulled the best card of my life, a Derrick Rose autographed card, with a Bulls red relic, in the shape of "48", serial-numbered as 1/1! I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened it!

Will post a scan tonight. The other thing I forget to mention was that out of all the rookies in the set, I only got 6 total in the hobby box (Thabeet and Flynn leap to mind), three #'d to 1948, and 3 #'d to 2009, and one was the same player.

word, so you got 3 autos in one hobby box? K Love, D Rose and a BG? I'm def interesed to see the scan of the Rose.

i opened a box yesterday.......my three autos were Hinrich, Brandon Roy, and Rick Barry.....i liked the product and will probably be busting more :)

I've never had a 1/1 before, so I'm pretty excited, but I can't say I'm blown away by this particular card.
