I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bleier when he visited Eighth Air Force Headquarters, Barksdale Air Force Base, LA.
Not a big man..but one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
A hero, both with the military and the football fans.
This was a great read. A great story for those who did not know the "rest of the story".Randy

I seen a documentry on TV about him I think it was a documentry...loved it, This is why I am into the old school players more then the players today. I cant stand the steelers at all but, when you have people like him you look beyond the colors. Just wish we had more of that today rather then some of the players now. Seems like anytime a player is in the spot light its not for a good cause.
