    Ginter Blaster V Ginter Hobby?

Obviously I ripped 10 boxes of hobby, and tonight was at wally world and at $20 couldnt resist a RETAIL box. This is my third one while I have pulled a bazooka and alot of nice minis and have been killing the odds on short prints. Now I have also had monster boxes of hobby, but Im really curious as to what you guys who are also ripping both (I know robby has, mike might of? and some others) What are you thinking???

Tonights 8 packs from the blaster had
    7 Shortprints
    1 black border
    2 A&G back (1 of them being a SP A&G)
    and.....
A Iris Kyle Short print event worn bikini.

So ultimately my question is what do you think Hobby or Blaster.

My current pick is blaster. For the money I have seen the guys pull the same cards if not better out of $80 of blasters then a single box of hobby @ $80. Ill give up a Nate Mcclouth game used to pull better mini's.

    What are you guys thinking?
    Mike

The pulls from blasters are too inconsistant... Luck runs out but guarantees don't.

I think if you're short on cash and really want to open some packs then blasters are fun but if you want guaranteed hits blasters just aren't going to cut it.

hobby. Blasters arent guarenteed and you will feel like crap after blowing 80 on 4 blasters and getting nothing vs spending 80 on a hobby box and getting at least 3 hits

For those saying hobby, who has even ripped the blasters this year? Trust me I have done very well out of hobby....

    Masterson Topper auto #/15
    Masterson Auto
    Hughes Auto
    Lowell Auto
    Roberts Rip #25/25
    Perez Rip #/99
    Dice-k Silk #/10
    Zambrano Silk #/10
    V-mart Bazooka #/25
    Laroche Bazooka #/25

And The odds on the hobby and retial are very similar and most odds are the EXACT same/ just a couple packs difference.

Just playing devils advocate...for the people who have actually ripped both like me you have a first hand opinion. Others should try both :). This product isnt assumed hobby....just because "its hobby". Trust me I havent ripped retial in years but this seems pretty legit.

I've bought two hobby boxes, and the best pull was a Hanley auto. No numbered cards, no extinct animals, and no good relics.

Out of blasters (maybe 5 or so), I've had three relics, TONS of SP minis, some numbered minis, and about 1 black mini per blaster. It's pretty close. If you bust A&G for the set, definitely go with retail. If you whine when you don't get a relic, go with hobby. Keep in mind, though, that, in A&G, inserts are often worth more than relics.
