Ok, so I dont collect football anymore but I am a HUGE Gators fan, and an even bigger Tebow fan....so i was just wondering the price range of his rookies that will be coming out. Any help is appreciated!!

Time will tell...But based on his college performance probably alot even if he never becomes anything in the NFL. His base RC's will be cheap like everyone else but if your talking autos then more pricey.

Using Percy Harvin as a barometer.... his higher produced cards and non-Gator Uni auto's get considerablely less than te low numbered Gator manufactured patches and autos in gator uni... I'd assume 200-300 for cards of Tebow that are similar to the 09 Bowman Draft Gator Manufactured logo/autos.... probably 80-100 for base autos in Gator Uni... but if Tebow gets a lot of NFL-prospect love from performing this season.... then you are gonna have to take out a college loan.... LOL... as far as base rc cards... i'd expect $5-10 range for gator uni rc's

I highly doubt his cards will go for much for the same reasons he didt enter this year after speaking with an nfl and draft advisor, he wont be a top pick and he wont be a qb, and will have to enter as either a reciever or rb and he isn't very good at either. He will be a late round pick by a team who wants to run the wildcat.
Harvin was a beast at florida and thats why his cards go for what they do, he could run and catch very well, and is a very versatile player. Tebow is semi versatile, and the great ones struggle in the nfl, some one who is only some what will only be useful in a few occasions and will most likely be replaced by a new better rookie in a draft or two, and thats tebow.

I understand the logic behind what you are saying....but value is not based on player skill level... its based on demand... for example.. 95% of the collecting public knew Colt Brennan would never make it in the NFL, but Hawaii fans were paying high dollar for his cards.... Harvin is popular with Gator fans and also anticipated to be successful in the NFL, but his popularity is nothing compared to Tebow at UF and with Gator Nation. Unlicensed Tebow cards get $10 on eBay constantly. When you start looking at the higher demand cards of Harvin like the 09 Bowman Draft Manufactured Auto Gator Patches.... you will see they are going for 125-150 consistently.... while other /25 autos with Viking Uni's are getting a fraction of that... the price boost is because of Gator fans wanting Harvin Gator stuff.... I am only guessing here.... but I think a lot of Gator fans are going to be bidding up Tebow cards, especially if they win another BCS Title, especially if they go undefeated, and especially if Tebow gets another Heisman. If Tebow starts getting NFL hype, his cards will be untouchable. On top of everything else too, you are going to have a collecting public focusing in on 2010 football cards as well with Bradford and McCoy in the products.... and like in 06, when everyone is watching and collecting... even the lower tier guys get a boost in value.

everyone will tell you that they wont go for much since everyone of here seems to hate him for some reason lol but trust me, when he gets drafted, everyone will hop on the badwagon andd his cards imo will sell for decent money... mark my words
